Busnell 1500 Vs 1600 Rangefinder

Good morning ... Vietnaaam!

Sunday May 16, Mother's Day in Uruguay, and we are coming to Vietnam ... all very strange as ever ... I guess

from our little country, Vietnam still sounds strong and distant to us by all means, but the truth nine days were amazing ... we visited four different cities in those days, and each had his trademark ...

The first destination was Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, capital of South Vietnam in a time when the country was divided because French occupation, and years later served as a refuge for Americans when they decided to "intervene" in a fight totally alien to them ...

Far from me is trying to tell the story of what happened ... I love to do, but do not think I can, plus it is not the intent of this blog ... needless to say that this story is very interesting addition known, and luckily we had the opportunity to learn more about the feelings of people who were affected by what happened over the years ...

While in Ho Chi Minh took us to visit the tunnels Cu Chi, a symbol of the Vietnamese resistance, as you read the details of our schedule ... Cu Chi is a village near Ho Chi Minh, and one of the many places where it was developed the war at its best ... because of the constant bombardment of the Americans and the superiority they had in terms of weaponry and technology, the North Vietnamese Army (VC) built a system of tunnels used as shelters and gun at the same time, and was thus able to finally win that war ...

more details, details a minimum, the reality is that little matter once you start to walk through one of those tunnels ... we walked forty meters, crouching all the way and a tremendous sense of claustrophobia that is accentuated if I was to think that these people walked, slept, ate, and survived in there, and they did every day for years ... the truth that after walking through the tunnels, to see the pitfalls that put the Vietnamese, and hear the stories of how he guides all (logically from optics of them) that left me feeling was of pity, but not by the Vietnamese ... I can not imagine the horror of what Americans were lucky to four assholes that they put this outbreak has occurred enough to Communist ... few minutes walk in there to bring you the creeps ...

's amazing the feeling of hatred was rooted against Americans, even invented a military rank was called "courageous fighter killer of Yankees" ... of course, we, ignorant and without having lived it, we listened and we cagábamos of laughter, but I think it was more in shock than anything else ...

The impression I get is that the Vietnamese are so skinny and give battle to any ... had many wars with the Chinese, Mongolian, Cambodian, French, American ... eventually ended up beating them all ... surely they must be very clever, or being very well run, because there are little ones WTF!

Before leaving Cu Chi, several we venture to prove that he was fired a few shots from an M16 machine gun ... some used, I tried the rifle ... who did that noise, Mommy ... a sens ation of war impressive, especially for those who used the shrapnel it seemed that they imagined a school teacher or a former girlfriend with whom he still had some kind of resentment ... heh. In short, the entire visit was tremendous ... to party gave to build the hotel terrace and everything ... luckily we have some colleagues with a notable initiative in regard to phosphates, and although we have to get up at 7 in the morning the next day, they find the motivation to provide good parties ... is that so many cultural visits exhausted, we must clear the mind ... heh.

That same night around Cu Chi, they took us to dinner aboard a boat trip on the river, and some shows that I think is not much to beat the atmosphere of the dinner, but were not too bad ... fun all ... and as always, we finished putting together a little party on the terrace of the Hotel Victory, to part of South Vietnam ...

Tuesday, 18, flew from Ho Chi Minh to Danang in the center of the country to go from there to Hoi An by bus, a city 30 km from where we landed ...

As a people, much more picturesque than Ho Chi ... Divine Minh city with a river running through, very nice beaches and a number of bolichitos and restaurants along the river that night will give much color to the city ... there is also a shopping area! Hoi An is popular for the number of tailor shops there, you make suits and dresses as an overnight ... yeah yeah, amazing ... you, you choose the fabric, fixing the price, I measure everything, and the next day is ready ... a little played capable, but obviously had to do ... and as one was not enough, I did two trajecillos for 35 USD each already heading for Montevideo ... heh.

And will not think I'm the only one! A group of six friends were sent to do thirteen costumes from all ... And the most amazing thing is that they are made for the next day! In the shop we chose was a lady (the owner), her husband and daughter ... I commented that when they went to try on the suits the other day, one was going to the bottom and saw about 10 Vietnamese cooking lying on the floor ... of course that is how do all from one day to another ... the raw Negrea ...

haggling technique is similar to what we were seeing in China, so it was fun, and obviously ended up buying of all ... we did send Clari weighed 27 kg, nearly double what had Sent in Hong Kong, 3 days before ... suits, dresses, shirts and gift to give, muscular to survive this heat, ties ... cute, no?

Going to the restaurant area on the river that commented, you have to go through a little street appears to be a fair day ... all dark, many places covered with tarps, and an adventure ... the smell was in there, did you seriously think that had tarps down those dead people, and rats that occasionally passed by in front of us, the adrenalin was really interesting ... of course, then look for another alternative route, because with one or two times reached venture ... Clari, endowed with a great love for extreme sensations really enjoyed the reactions of the other girls who came with us, especially Agus, who really can say that he suffered and not fuck ...

The third day we Hoi An we went to take the desire to see a bit of sand again, so we sent them to a beach that was about 5 km from the hotel ... some were in a taxi, others opted for the adventure of renting a small motorcycle and move well rnments Tour ... fun truth ...

The beach was divine, very refreshing for the heat he did, and with plenty of room to be comfortable in that area ... there are many hotels and restaurants, which would to think it's very touristy ... and what you can not miss on a beach littered with hotels? Yes yes, a volleyball net! and oh coincidence, we were the Fantastic Four ... the record set by that date a total of three games for the duo Nico-Bruno (all on the same continent, but they like to believe otherwise), and once again we Santi saw against the possibility of stopping this myth and to cleanse the karma ... 17:00 local time, a sun that burned the sand Rajant and send us in the fight for our dignity ... finally, after two sets (not was no need for a third party) not very even, we get what we longed so much ... to shut his mouth for a while ... thanks to a wonderful performance of my companion, friend and cousin, Santi, the rival groups was drowned in the confusion and constant shortness of breath, needing to resort to old tricks of the trade, but not thus able to avoid defeat ... and well, now to continue with the escalation in future destinations ...

After the beach we had to pass up the suits, dresses, sneakers and sandals that we do with Clari sent the day before and already had undergone several tests since the night we went to eat at an Italian pasta restaurant, it's worth mentioning because it was tremendous ... we ask for 3 courses between the two, a meat lasagna, carusso ravioli stuffed with meat and pumpkin ravioli with pink sauce ... all crazy ...

The hotel also ate very well, and the big attraction was to ask some snacks at the pool while we relaxed at the other people , taking the odd beer ... very good Vietnamese beer by the way, several brands and all very rich ...

On the cultural side of Hoi An (and I'm getting a little embarrassed to have anything but what we know), we taken to see the Marble Mountains, and then did a walking tour through the town, visiting the local market and the whole area of \u200b\u200bthe river that was near the hotel ...

Hotel (Van Loi) very cute, like all who come to visit ... the building with all rooms forms a closed square, with balconies on the inside facing the pool ... as you can imagine that we used to heat swimming pool ... Me (between 35 and 40 degrees) was like an oasis in the middle of the desert ... well that as I said before, it hosted several meetings with music, food and drink ...

Great place to visit in general, with some all ... culture, relaxation, entertainment and shopping ...

Thursday, 21, flew to Hanoi to Halong go straight, a town about four hours by bus from Hanoi, with a bay was declared a World Heritage Site and is undoubtedly the main attraction of this city ... Just

I was setting on the computer calendar what day we had been to Halong, and I realized that only a week ago we were arriving in that city, and now as I write this paragraph are two countries later, going to Thailand and Cambodia ... having gone through a week in Montevideo was just one more week, that work is going very fast, and not much time now ... I see very clear that a week seems to be much more than they felt before, at least at the pace that we have ... well, a feeling I wanted to share ... back to Halong

... We arrived at night and went to sleep and the next day we had we were in a 8-hour cruise around the bay, which a priori supposed to be one of the key points of the journey and the truth did not disappoint at all ...

We left around 9 am in the boats, and the truth that from beginning to end was a paradise ... a day cruise, sun, swimming, seafood, good music for fun, and very good cool ... what more could you want? Well, actually, please do not return the boat, but did not give us ball ...

It took the boat about 3 hours to get to where we would stay for a swim, and the way we stopped at some caves there, and traveled all the inside ... as usual scorching heat, and more than one girl felt a little bad, like Angie (a character) they shouted as he climbed the stairs that she wanted to go down ...

retake the crossing after passing through the caves and follow road to the swimming area ... we enjoy that first shot into the water was indescribable ... 40 degrees in the sun for more than symptom is not good to tan lera long time ... the water was divine, fresh and clean, with a current that made you have to swim a little to no other end in vessels ta lso had anchored in the same area ... ah, and again followed by redeeming the underwater camera has been giving me so much joy ... heh.

At noon lunch in the boat, seafood lunch was very good, although more than one may have hit a punch stomach after ... but it was very good ...

started back in the afternoon and returned the hotel ... that night we had dinner with Clari, Ale, Lua, Fede and Agus, a very unfriendly place for good food, and then went to a barsito that was nearby, where several of the group were to gather for a drink ... We

the bar and well ... Terry Lucas appeared in a glass post assembly ... all people in the group, with our own music composition in exchange for a night of high revenue for the bar, a night armed Funny ... throw until 5 am or so, and the next day we had to return by bus to Hanoi ... you can imagine the state of these bondis ... but hey, sleeping the whole trip finally came to Hanoi ... We

and we took a trip on "cyclo", a tricycle pulled by a Vietnamese on a bike, it seems that he was suffering as ever, the poor skinny ... to at times even got off the bike and walking took us ... sure, I think we killed the two together up Clari, who went on to one more break gave her tipitos ... was pretty good as 50 cars were all walking the streets of Hanoi, visiting and getting to know a little old center ... The walk ended in Hoan Kiem lake, which the fatigue we had not given us to go, and we returned on buses hotel to sleep for a nap ...

The next day we did have a day exploring the lake, visiting the temples that are on it, and listening to several of the stories our guide told us, Viet (so called himself), and then we were walking by our downtown Hanoi, looking for something to buy, but our budget was very limited and the few dong (Vietnamese bucks) that we had wanted to go also ... a water puppet show which are popular in Hanoi, but we did not get tickets ...

At night we put the bowling fee Hanoi, and went to several of the group that was supposed barsucho cheap and where could put our own music ... tatita ... bowling was inthe fourth floor of a building through the suburbs of Hanoi, a dark, warm, walking 10 blocks from the hotel, with a caripelas a little odd in the way they put a touch of adventure to the trip ... the bowling alley itself was full of people, most of our other foreigners but had also spent some time there ... and after we went back to sleep ...

The next day we flew from Hanoi to Siem Reap (Cambodia), but in the morning we had yet to make the last visit cultural ... the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh ... and closed on Mondays, Sabrina (Lameco) had to adjust the itinerary to make the visit on Tuesday before we left ... I think one

not fully understood how important it is Ho Chi Minh for the Vietnamese until they stand in front of that piece of architectural work ... is located in a plaza to be about 7 or 8 times the size of the square independence ... was built by Russian architects and Vietnamese together, using some special techniques to preserve the body .... Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that inside the mausoleum is the guy H or enterito and died in 1969, as if time would not pass ... the wonders of Russian embalming techniques (or if there is no such word) ... apparently after he died (at time of full war), took the body on the outskirts of Hanoi to avoid be lost in a bombing, and remained between blocks of ice for 3 years until they finished building the mausoleum ...

The queue that is to come to him is awesome ... you can not bring cameras of course, nor make any Vietnamese softies noise ... are responsible for maintaining order on the way ... once you log in, you can not stop you on the road, you have to travel further in following the line of people came in front of you, and about five minutes later you're out there ... Ho Chi Minh

was the founder of the Communist Party in 1930, and as we commented Viet (our guidance of a mustache funny), was a man wholly dedicated to helping its people ... so much so they say he never married or had children ... of course, then I heard some unofficial rumor that there was a jug by a bandit and that ended up being head chuiquitín of government after his death ... but I guess they are just rumors ...

was also an important military strategist who led the victory of Vietnam on several occasions, especially against the French in 1945 and was a great promoter of Vietnamese reunification , who finished shape in '76, 7 years after his death ...

Opa, as I was with historical narrative ... well, now back to the silliness ... we ended up with all that visit the mausoleum and home of Uncle Ho (and tell the Vietnamese today) and we went to the airport to fly to Siem Reap ... before changing target , is the recommendation of the Vietnamese beer ... all very good that we test ... 333, Hanoi, Saigon, Tiger ... I prefer the Tiger, being the one that accompanied us throughout the 9 days ... Good night Vietnam!
